There's a little bun in Stephy's oven!

I think this may be one of the most important blogs to date. We all wish you were here with us to enjoy this most amazing time with Stephy and Brad. Hopefully this will make you feel as if you are part of the magic :)

So your little sister is 26 weeks pregnant and has the most beautiful baby bump you have ever seen :) So there's less than 3 months to go, can you believe how time flies! This little boy is now kicking and letting everybody know he is in there, all though I haven't been lucky enough to feel a kick either, so don't feel too sad! He's giving his mummy some bad calf cramps (the worst feeling ever) and yes she's waddling like a pregant woman, and glowing like one too.

Did you know at 26 weeks baby is starting to open his eyes, and can notice bright lights and loud noises, so on a boiling hot day we thought what better place to take this little boy then to the sunny beach :) Rosebud beach just five minutes away from Steph and Brads beautiful little house.

The bump :) he's all curled up and cosy in her tummy!

Hello Baby!

Waiting to feel a kick!

floating in the water, and little bubby sticks right out!!
Grandma frances!

Aunty Jordy :) If only you could feel her beautiful baby tummy!

Grandpa Gary...yes we forgot to tell you dad is pregnant too!
The happy mummy and daddy :)
There will be more baby blogs to come because this little bump is just going to get bigger and bigger!

Jessy the Jetsetter? - Sydney

It has a nice ring to it hey? but who would have thought!? My reputation as 'stay at home Beth' is beginning to be destroyed. :/

Here is my sisterly update.

Last night, after a sleepy airplane ride and a battle with a huntsman in my car the size of my head; i made it home to quiet little Mt.Eliza.
I have to say, after spending a spontaneous week in Sydney...i really feel like our home has been built in the Country! The drive home seemed to take forever compared to the driving to and fro in Sydney.

So last week, was filled with much excitement. I headed off on my lonesome, to the City that really should be Australia's Capital. (Canberra is a terrible compromise). I was so surprised when the flight only took 50 minutes and i barely had time to even get my ipod out of my bag, before they told us they were preparing to land and to 'switch all electronic devices off' (or the plane will inevitably crash or fly off track??)
I managed to get lost within the first 5 minutes of being there...typical me. I must have looked silly wandering around the place juggling and struggling with all of my 3 bags.
I went to a wonderful place called Cronulla, which was a perfect start to my week. Wandering the streets, admiring views (which i wish i had taken a photo of!), enjoying good company, and playing boggle :)

Tuesday night I ventured off on my own to the public transport of Sydney. I wish i could say this was an enjoyable experience...but as i sat there all alone on the scary double decker train, i dont know if i could? :/ As the train got busier i got boxed in my 3 ladies with prams and almost missed getting off the train for my stop! haha
We explored the streets of the city, ate some amazing looking food...(sea urchin tastes gross by the way), searched the convenience stores for desserts that may not even exist?...and I rode a girls bike home with a smile on my face :)
If a stranger tries to feed this to you. say no. :)

I didn't realise the weather could be so hot in Sydney, until Wednesday; when i realised pants were a bad choice! Despite the heat and me feeling wonderfully dehydrated and lethargic, i met some of the most amazing people and fell in love with Sydney a little bit more.

Now. I don't know if you've ever experienced Asian Karaoke? But if you havent, i want you to get on your google maps and find a spot in your busy New York and get on that! Maybe i should include it in our list of Resolutions? haha I think you would love it dear Nomi :)

Bondi Beach was swell. (get it!? haha) I ate breakfast for lunch, we enjoyed a talented local being musical, bought Band-Aids, got lost in the streets, searched for crabs, chatted for too long on the cliffs and copped a lovely parking fine. There was so much exciting culture...and not so many life guards? We also ate the best ice-cream in Sydney...maybe even the world? It was an experience of its own finding our way to this place...(we werent lost though)... it was all part of the build up for the deliciousness? :)
Speaking of deliciousness, did you know there is 2 different types of eggplants...and they both taste exactly the same. They also make wonderful bases for vegetable people. Hair and everything.

Isn't she beautiful?

My Sydney experience also involved learning how to cook African food, and how to pick out the burnt bits. :)

So this is my sister update for you on my week away...i will try my best to keep you updated on my Overseas jetsetting; I remember before i left for Sydney, Nomi yelled to me over skype to take my camera! I'm ashamed to say i only took 3 photos! I promise ill take more in Vietnam :)

Please give me an update on your adventures! and Jordy is soon to post a baby-blog on our boy baby :)

I miss you dearly and love you even more! KEEP SAFE. XX

New Years Resolution...more like New Year Diminution

Ok, so yes - I Googled words rhyming with Resolution!...but we all know my vocab sucks, and this was a much better option than evolution.
Synonyms for Diminution:
- Decrease
- Reduction
- Lessening
- Shrinking
and my favourite
- Dwindling

When i think about my past New Years Resolutions, i know... that, always in the list of things like:
- be nicer to people
- try my best at school
- always remember what your Momma (MO-just for you haha) tells you,
there is ALWAYS these same little words that appear in my list...and millions other womens' throughout the world...whether it be at the front of the list...sneakied in the middle of the list, or quickly added at the end to keep up a reputation...those horrible words
WEIGHTLOSS...always finds its way in.
So many of us develop cunning little plans to be shrunk, reduced or on the way to be a mighty fine form of dwindling ;)

Seeing as I've woken up this morning super early (7am! AH) and realised I havent done any resolutions this year...and i dont know if you have yet dear sisters... I'm going to make some for us. That way we can be united in some of our goals this year, and find joy and excitement together...even though Oceans...or husbands...or other insignificant things may separate us :P

In no particular order:
the de Valle sisters (Sarah, Naomi, Stephanie, Jessica and Jordana) New Year Resolutions 2012

1. Each day, remember your sisters and smile for them...who knows which one of us could be having a down moment? that way we'll always be smiling!
2. Share each moment of excitement with each other...it may be something small..like seeing a novelty sized object.. or something as big and exciting as a new baby!...Let's not keep it to ourselves! Share it, and spread the excitement! Post it on the blog, email it or facebook each other :)
3. Sing in the shower. I know it's random! But it's actually so much fun! We could even have a mutual sister shower song haha. Like: Singing in the Rain, or Bootylicious by Destinys Child ;) haha!
4. Make time for ourselves and each other. I know our lives get so busy during the year and often we get caught up in the craziness of it all. Make sure we all have time to rest, and find times when we can sit and talk to each other (even via skype)
5. Seek to be spiritual. It's amazing how it can bring so much peace in life. Pray for each other.

6. Try to do small acts of service throughout the week for each other, or random strangers! Compliment someone, send each other a nice email, leave a sticky note on a cafe wall telling someone they are wonderful? Anything! :)
7. This one sounds weird and random...and i'm sure we already do it. But I'm going to add it in anyway. Give Thanks and Appreciate and respect the things we have been given which make it possible for us to live. This includes things like: the earth, animals, Mum and Dad :), Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ
8. Take more photos. Document our lives!...and keep a photo of your sisters somewhere :)
9. Continue in our endeavors to embrace womanhood and love who we are, how we are. Remind each other of this.
10. Finally. Love, forgive, support, remember, be kind, laugh with, and listen to each other always. Make our bond of unity stronger than its ever been before!

This year there will be no Diminution! :)
(Feel free to add to the list my sisters)
I love you!

Over a month...This must be a Serious Blog Post!

Now where do I even begin!?

I'm not even sure. So maybe I'll start off where we left off, which was the 11th of December when you had not yet received yourself a Christmas Tree!
It seems the Genius Mission Impossible worked to plan...because I see you got yourself an amazing tree not long after! WIN ;)

So every year we go as a family to see Santee Claus in the City with our super exciting de Valle cousins...as the years have gone past without you, we have managed to still have you there in various forms of stuffed animal (how sweet are we?!)
If you look closely...you are a cute little hedgehog, Rich is a Gorilla and Jordana is a lambkin :)...."Lest we Forget"

Skipping ahead a bit...fast-forwarding over the inhaling of a serious amount of food...we had a visit from a big fat man in a red suit...although since our man has been eating vegetarian for the past year, i dont think he could fit the quota very well :/
It was a very different Christmas...with sisters all over the place!! One of them decided to get up and leave to Tasi to visit some other important family (pffft)...one was off in the fairy land of Jetlag, and one of course was in Festive New York. (The other two were present and lively :) )
Santa was very modest this year and brought us one gift each. It was different, but nice.
Christmas also fell on a Sunday!...so we got to go to church. Now i can see all of your faces now thinking "*sarcastic woo*...why would you want to go to church on such a busy family day?" ...well let me tell you, it was so wonderful! The spirit of Christmas was quadrupled, and sining christmas hymns with everyone was just the most beautiful thing :)
and you may have enjoyed watching me attempt to walk up to the pulpit to conduct, in the shoes I received for Christmas which were just that LOT too high and required some epic conscious walking haha

So Nanna's house didn't have any Red Rooster this year...because some Ninny passed the food onto our Mum haha...so the food has swaped from greezy chicken and chips...to festive salads and roasted chickens (it was actually amazing) haha
Oh and dearest Grandpa was in full form, making lovely not-repeatable comments about christmas presents haha ...did i mention we got pyjamas?? ;)

Grandma Nicoles was busy as it always is and was full of violent children running around with Pinata sticks :)

It was a beautiful, busy and different christmas. and i loved it so much...but i would have loved it more with my complete family :)

Ok...so now i think i will dot point...because theres too much to throw into one blog! so its really not going to be too exciting!

- Boxing day: We ate more food! who would have thought!?
- Convention: Mum, Dad and I went to convention in sweltering hot Licola! It was so much fun...but left me lacking so much sleep and a desire not to 'reach higher grounds' but to sit under shady trees and be lazy for the rest of my life :)
- Post convention: You would have been impressed by my social-ness ...who is this woman staying up past 10.30!?
-The Wind and the Willows: I'm sure Jordy will do a blog post on this for you! It sounded amazing! but i can't really elaborate
- Barwon Heads: We definitly had the chance to relax! It was windy and rainy and cold..."Hello Summer"...
Jordy and I had some real adventures chilling in our tent getting wet through the MEGAstorm :/ ...and somehow we still managed to get super burnt!
and just throwing this one in there because you may find it as entertaining as i did...our little cousins asked Mum where her eyebrows were. AHAHA

That brings us to today...I have so much to get ready today! Sometime last year a did a post on no longer being a caveman/woman! well i really hope i can write a similar one by the end of today! haha

I miss you and i love you, and i'm so sorry this blog post is so random and bedraggled, BUT its 2012, so they can only get better from now on right??

In fact I just thought of one i can do! so be prepared ;)
