It seems I've been Neglecting you!!! Welll this is a good one ;) ;)

First of all! I have a lot to update on the blog, so I will have to do a couple. Because I don’t have the camera, I can’t do them all now, so we may have to do something exciting….like go back in time!! (something I’ve always been interested in doing, and now im inventing away on a blog! Yay!)

Sweeeet Chilly Philly…unknown loves and as Rihanna would say “Chains and Whips excite me” (in a totally non-seedy way I swear).

"special sister" (i look like a fat version of golum with hair the same colour as the cow) haha

OMGSH!! THIS IS WHAT I OFFICIALLY ASPPRE TO ME (ITS A COW NOT A GRIZZLY BEAR!!!!)

Now this is a day you did not want to miss out on. Lucky thing you were there!!! Today we took you on a sister day trip (minus Sari L ) to Phillip Island!
Excitement was building as we woke up to a beautiful sun shiny day and loaded our precious cargo of coats, coats, more coats and a snuggy into the back of the wagon. There was no way we were going to freeze like Japanese tourists at the penguin parade!
Stephy, knowing the way to the Island like the freckles of the back of her hand, drove the beast (Gasious Maximus), while Jordy, me and you were passengers, bringing entertainment and singing to the car. Our version of Justin Beiber “Baby” will never get old. Your singing was particularly good. Haha

We had a great start to the day, after I filled Gasious up with Gas, and thought I’d try to make you all laugh by running out of the shop waving my arms like a crazy person. FAIL. Well not the laughing part haha, there was nothing short of that, but all of the cards from my wallet went flying!!! And I was left scrambling over the petrol station floor, while steph, jordy and you sat watching and laughing. …  hahaha

(im going to skip around a bit because its hard to fit everything in)
We made the treacherous drive across the bridge and took note not to miss it on the way out! (I’m not sure what Jordy was expecting, but I’m sure, like me she was utterly disappointed at the size of the bridge) haha.
you and stephy ripping it up
Our first stop took us to the Penguin Parade centre to purchase our “3 PARK PASS!!” (sounds like we’re at queensland or something!). Steph got us a 20% discount, so the day was already getting better.
We eagerly sat down, prepared to watch the exciting free dvd the centre was showing on penguins. To our horror, it involved murderous foxes and penguin porn. We covered your eyes and left discretely. Hahaha

The Penguin Centre:

You are such a handsome Nomi

You forced us to take this photo, we thought it was a bit dangerous, but you insisted!

You and your best friend Rodger the Penguin

RUN!!!
HAAAPPPY FEEET :D

We then went to Nobby’s and were too stingey to put $2 in the coin machine for you to spot a seal. Sorry Nomes, you were much too short anyway!

Today on Skype, I told you I was in love. You may not have found it funny, but I always find the amusement in tricking people into thinking I met someone…because they just get so excited! Hehe. I’m sorry. So I didn’t find a someone, but I did fall in love with a something!
Our stop to Church hill heritage farm, resulted in actually all of us, finding true love.
Loretta the fluffy cow just having a lovely itch...shes so clever

As we drove onto the farm we were so excited, because there was a market on too!! And in true de Valle style, we went around trying all the testers!! Delish!!
When we went into the actual heritage farm, the lady at the desk could tell how excited we were…and decided she needed to get the farmer to come out and see us, and organise to bring the baby lambs out for us later! He said if we came back later at 4 he might let us feed them….welll thankyou farmer Trev, we are definitely going to take you up on that!

The farm had beautiful little cottages and sleepy horses and cows….and in the nursery they has piglets, lambie lambs, bunnies, guinea pigs and chickens. We were sneaky and stuck our arms through the bars to give them a pat!
I think this horse definitely had a song stuck in his head...maybe Enya...because he was SO sleepy!

HAHAHA!!! Is this not the most content/satisfied little sheep you've ever seen!!!
Stephy likes roast chicken
!!!!!

When we heard farmer Trev on his motor bike, we chased him across the farm in hopes of some lambs!....it seems it was our lucky day, and while he was bringing them up the viewing part of the farm, let us hold one that we all immediately fell in love with. We called her “Darling”. J
She is beautiful!!

Darling loves a snuggle :)

After our encounter with the babies, we were all feeling very emotional and hormonal (crazy what baby animals can do! Haha)…and I swear there were almost tears of joy from all of us!! Haha. We decided it was time for out next stop.
We bought rolls and deliciousness for lunch and ate it on cowes foreshore with the beautiful sun warming our backs.
When we finished we went to the Koala sanctuary and laughed at the koala’s perfectly placed in forks of trees with broken off bits of gum leaves for them haha…they didn’t even bother to put them in real gum trees!!! Haha.
Is this not the seediest giant teddy Koala/only giant teddy Koala you've ever seen!! Look at its eyes!!...don't want to know where its looking...but its creepy!!

If you look closely, you are being a racist and pulling of the cute little japanese 'peace' sign. rude little gnomie! haha

It was almost 4 and we decided…even though we weren’t sure if Farmer Trev was serious or not?? That we would go back to the farm….track him down and feed those bubbies!!
He wasn’t very hard to find. He was doing a “whip” demonstration for all of the tourists. So we sat and waited. I turned to Stephy and said “I bet you he’ll make us try the whip or we wont get to feed the lambs”. Oh I spoke to soon!
Next minute we are all up with farmer Trev, desperately trying to crack a whip in hopes of feeding a lamb!!!

All that hard work and it was so worth it!

The results of our whip craaacking!! :D :D AMAZING!!!!!

lone rider!! ...so teeny

The strong little babies sucking alll their milk up so they can have bloated little jessy tums :)

Our day out couldn’t really get any better could it!??
OH BUT IT CAN!!
We still have Penguinies to go!
Lucky we already had our 3 parks pass, because it was packed!! We layered on our coats, gloves and my new penguin beanie and headed out for the little guys to come waddling out of the ocean.
They wait until it’s dark, because they get so scared!! HAHAHA it was SO funny!! They came in groups and huddled together like a group of spartans, because its all about strength in numbers. They waddled out and swam back in, waddled out and swam back in, waddled out and swam back in…until eventually they would make the long trek across the sand and up to their little homes!!!
We watched the tiny little guys waddle up the hills to their homes, and oh it looked so exhausting! We weren’t allowed to take photos, so you’ll have to imagine or remember from days of old, of how cute they are!! J

This is a very long blog post and will have to do for now!
I wil be posting again as soon as I can about our other Gnomie/NOMI adventures!!
We love you and miss you, and are hoping you haven’t got tooo skiiny over there!!! Cos if you do you’ll be sure to blow away in the hurricane!!! If I were I’d be sitting in that apartment eating all of the cake I can to ensure I stay planted on ground!! Wish you were with us everyday...and we didn't have to put up with you're rude replacement Gnome ;)

Catch Ya later Mate (that’s one for your American friends ;-) )
Love you and keep safe!!!
PS you’re irreplaceable…you silly butt hahah

The de Valle genes are strong in this one!! Living the chocolate dreeaam!!

;) ;) Oh and we found you a boy friend/true love too!! I don't know if you can see this....but Nomi Gnome just fell head of heels for this Penguiney named Richard haha

The Search for a Gnomie for Nomi!

I had a light bulb idea the other day! I spend my days at uni day dreaming of ideas how i can make you smile while you are all the way in far far away. (New York)
I know you've seen the movie Amelie. and i know that everyone has to love the travelling gnome!
Well. here it is. The Brilliant Idea!

So. Your name is NOMI! What better thing to remind us of you than a GNOMIE! :D
The plan for our "home nomi" (Gnomie)
1) Find a Nomi represent (coolest little gnome)
2) Buy the Gnomie
3) The Gnomie will be taken with a sister or a parent when an exciting or not so exciting event is happening, and at least one photo will be taken, so you will not miss out :) ...and it will be like you were there!! :O

It turns out, not many places sell Gnomes!! I spent hours searching garden stores and the internet...even old ladies gardens!!!...for the appropriate Nomi Gnome. Here are a few I came across!
These ones look like the ones from Snow White! But they weren't what I was looking for!

SO CUTE! and their faces and so squashed! haha...not a Nomi represent...and much to difficult to cart around to events, considering this Gnomie weighed a tonne!!

"Hello, I'm Santa Clause Gnomie"...Merry Christmas??

Gnomie and Richard??? ...too big again, and not very versatile for different Gnomie situations! you can only go butterfly catching or fishing!!!

It looks like Grandma Nicole playing golf...

This is bouncer Gnomie...don't be walking into any Gnome clubs underage...cos this guys tough!

I travelled high and low, far and wide, in backyards, in front yards, in Bunning's, in garden stores! None really made the cut of a travelling Nomi Represent!....I was about to give up the hunt and brilliant idea of travelling Nomi...when Lo and Behold!!!.....who would have thought...the perfect, weird, creepy, yet cute little Gnomie would be found in your old bedroom!!!
Do you remember me buying you this!!??
He is perfect and Pint Sized!!!...and has spent enough time with you to know the shoes he has to fill and the wonderful
person he has to live up to! and he even brought is flowers!
So now it begins! We will make sure he travels with us everywhere and his adventures will be posted on the blog just for you....so you can see where we have taken you and what you and your family have done together, all the enjoying what we wish was truly your company.
I'm sure he will be respectful of you, won't truly try to steal your spot in the family, and wont tell rude jokes about you....he did live in your room you know :/ haha

Love you and miss you!!! Hope all is well!
Maybe I'll take you to work with me tonight....now THATS uneventful! haha

x o  x o jessy girl...(thought i might try signing off like that just once...i wanted to know what it felt like haha)
